AL-WADI: al-wadi...from..? does it really matter where? at any moment the border could shift and his hometown could be in a completely different province, country , zone, continent whatever. if he has to be from anywhere, let's just say he claimsthe Middle East ( a historical and political region of Afro-Eurasia with no clear boundries). al-wadi skips continents like a citizen of the world, in constant contact with his country men or "curry borthers" (as he likes to call them) thorughout the globe. "Switch ya turban up!" is another al-wadiism. none too sure what it means, but he's been known to use it as an exclamation of frustration when debating with closedminded individuals.
